Below is the section-by-section syllabus of the Navik GD & DB exam of the Indian Coast Guard, which we have provided in detail for your convenience.

Navik Syllabus (Section-1)

Mathematics

A strong mathematical background is required for applicants to the Indian Coast Guard. Students are required to have passed the Class 10 Board exams.

Nevertheless, after a lack of practice, the mathematics section can give many negative marks, as the chapters such as mathematical simplification, ratios, and proportions, algebraic identities, linear equations, simple measurement, and geometry can give the maximum marks to pass the exam.

  • Algebraic Identities
  • Ratio & Proportion
  • Simple Mensuration
  • Basic Trigonometry
  • Simultaneous Equations
  • Mathematical Simplification
  • Linear Equations & Polynomials

English

The Indian Coast Guard relies on English as the universal language for all positions. ICG looks for candidates with great communication skills, presentation skills, and the right grammatical knowledge.

  • Passage
